Anuga 2017, what can you expect from sampling jerky on the Scotland Food and Drink stand.

We’re only in July but already we’re putting together the products and presentations for you to sample at Anuga, Cologne from the 7th-11th October 2017.

Why will you want to stop by and sample our products?  We’ll provide you and your customers with a great tasting, high protein and high in Omega 3 snack.  With a long shelf life, you’ll be sure that jerky will provide your customers with a snack they can rely on.   Plus, we’ll have plenty of samples for you to taste at the event.

We’ll have our range of Wild West Jerky, Men’s Health Fuel Beef Jerky and our new Speyside Smokehouse Salmon Jerky range with us.  Our Wild West Jerky is the UK’s No.1 selling brand of jerky and we are just launching salmon jerky into the market.

We make Men’s Health Fuel Beef Jerky under licence and this jerky is low in salt and sugar and has been endorsed by Men’s Health magazine for building muscle, as part of a protein rich diet and creating a healthy immune system, the current recipe was developed by the experts at Men’s Health magazine and with the assistance of their subscribers.

Whether you’re a supermarket buyer look after snacks or front of store, in convenience and wholesale, run Forecourts or independent delis, jerky can sit in your snacking feature.  With the trend of high protein snacks continuing and the five year growth of the meat snacking category at 16.1%, greater than that of the total snacking category.

In the UK in 2016, we ate through 700,000kg of supermarket cured sausages, beef jerky and biltong and in March 2016 meat snacking was recognised as a category in its own right in the UK. So, it’s time to add jerky to your range.
