Anuga one month to go

With only a month to go until we’ll be sharing our jerky at Anuga 2017, our new Wild West packaging has arrived and the team are working on creating our new recipes, including chicken and salmon jerky, ready for everyone to try.

This will be the first event that our new beef jerky recipe will be available to buyers and we’ve added chicken jerky and salmon jerky to the range too.

We want to provide your customer with a healthy, high protein range of snacks that are convenient and tasty.  For this we’ve developed our beef jerky recipe to have a softer texture and yet retained all the flavour that consumers enjoy.  Plus, add a Jalapeno beef jerky flavour to the range.

Wild West has also grown the range with the addition of Fajita Spice Chicken Jerky and two Salmon Jerky flavours: Sea Salt & Black Pepper and Chilli.

We’ve also launched this month a dedicated Salmon Jerky brand Speyside Smokehouse.  Our salmon jerky is prepared by hand on the banks of the River Spey, in the Scottish Highlands and is slowly cooked and smoked over beech wood.

As part of our preparation for attending the show we’ve spent some time with the team at Cairngorm Brewery working on which of our jerky’s complement their range of beers and the brewery tour visitors had a great time helping us select.  Visit us on the Scotland Food and Drink stand at Anuga to find out which jerky you like with your beer from Cairngorm Brewery.
