Rachael Burford, England International Rugby Player and World Cup Winner

Rachael Burford is a World Cup Winning Rugby player having been on the winning team for England in August 2014. This wasn’t Rachael’s first world cup outing as she represented England at previous world cups.

Rachael told us “Making my Full XV debut in 2006 Rugby World Cup in Canada and having debuted for England Sevens in 2004, I have over 50 Caps. These have seen me feature in 5 Rugby World Cups in 2006, 2010 and 2014 for XV’s, and 2009 and 2013 for Sevens. I’ve featured in six RBS 6 Nations tournaments, 3 European Championships & various autumn and summer international tours and tests. Soon after becoming a World Champion in August 2014, we were crowned Sky Sports and BBC Sports Personality Team of The Year”.

Rachel is also using our beef jerky as part of her training regime. Rachael told us how this assists with her daily meal plans – “Beef jerky is ideal for me. There are a few reasons I used beef jerky to aid my training; it’s easy to take anywhere (I’m on the go a lot and this is an ideal snack for me pre or post-training). I also use it when away from training to help get a healthy protein hit during the day. I enjoy the variety of products with the Honey BBQ flavour being my favourite. It’s also soft so eating this brand isn’t hard work!
