How long have you been doing gymnastics and what is your specialism?

I have been doing gymnastics for 11 years now and I am a all around gymnast. This means that I do all of the men’s Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus this includes the floor, pommel, rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar. My best piece would be the parallel bars as I’m the European Youth Olympic Champion on this.

 

How many hours a week do you train?

25 hours a week.

How long is a typical training session?

A typical training session will last between 3 and 4 hours so due to this I need to recover well and biltong/beef jerky is great way to do so.

How does the Cruga Biltong fit into your nutritional regime?

I have a 35g pack straight after a session as it takes less time to repair.

What are you goals for the next 12 months?

My goals for the next 12 months are to do well at the Japan competition at the end of September and the America competition the week after. Then there will be the Junior European Championships in Switzerland. I hope to make the team for this.

Great Britain have won this competition 4 consecutive times and I was on the winning team last time so they will want to replicate the result. Then of course there is the Olympic Games but due to my age I will struggle to make the team for 2016 so this will be more of a long term goal.
