Bronwyn Taylor, age 19, started training when she was 14 and entered her first competition aged 16.??Bronwyn has always been interested in sports and has taken part in martial arts, ballet and athletics.
Bronwyn works in the family removals business. She trains 5-6 days per week for around 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on how she feels after a day?s work, so training sessions can vary week to week.
Bronwyn has been using Cruga Biltong since May 201. She likes the convenient sized package – it is very handy when she is on her removals jobs or as a post work out snack.
Bronwyn can be seen competing at the following competitions throughout the autumn:
12th?September Scottish Open
10th?October Irish Muscle Power, Belfast (one of the Strongmen contacted her and then put the organisers in touch when they expressed an interest)
24th?November Silver City Classic Bodybuilding Competition, Aberdeen – Bronwyn will be coaching Cosmo for this competition. She still has a few power lifting titles she?d like to get under her belt before turning her attention to body building)
Bronwyn?s goals for the next 12 months are to continue competing and winning as many titles as she can. There is a family competition with her brother Cosmo to see which of them will achieve a personal best by deadlifting 200kg before Christmas.
Bronwyn competed at the British Drug Free Powerlifting Scottish Nationals on the 12th?September. She weighed in at 72.9 kg and squatted 140kg; benched 82.5kg and deadlifted 182.5kg – giving her a total of 405kg. She took first place in her class and also won the Best Equipped Female Lifter award.
