What does a bodybuilder need to stay in shape?
We asked Cosmo Taylor what it takes to stay in shape and compete in the body building world.
Cosmo told us that a really simple but balanced diet was all it took in terms of nutrition. Typical meal plan would include:
Breakfast – protein porridge; egg whites
Lunch – chicken with sweet potatoes and an assortment of vegetables
Dinner – chicken or mincemeat with rice
Snacks would include fruit, nuts and our Cruga Biltong
To be able to build up the muscles groups Cosmo needs to maintain a consistent amount of protein throughout the day. He always takes a pack of biltong to school for his mid-morning snack but never manages to finish it as his friends like to share it too.
